Pregnant Coleen Rooney watches Everton play without Wayne

His marriage was rocked earlier this year after Wayne Rooney was arrested during a wild night out and later convicted of drink-driving.

But wife Coleen, 31, proved the past was well and truly behind her as she supported her husband’s football team Everton as they took on Chelsea on Saturday.

Although Wayne was unable to play because he was sick, the pregnant WAG joined her son Kai, aged eight, along with her father Tony and brother Joe at Goodison Park.

Coleen put on a stylish display for the match in a polka dot dress with sheer panels which sheathed her growing bump.

Her caramel flecked brunette tresses were styled in an elegant half updo while her pretty features were enhanced with a light dusting of make-up.

Looking relaxed as she took in the match with her family, Coleen accessorised with large diamond stud earrings.

Her eldest son Kai looked adorable in a checked shirt and hoodie while Joe and Tony wrapped up in quilted jackets.

Although Wayne was scheduled to play, he was unable to take to the pitch because he was unwell with a cold.

Sam Allardyce told Sky Sports: ‘He’s unwell, he’s got the cold that runs around in this weather at this time of the year.

‘He felt unwell with a head cold yesterday, spoke to the doctor this morning and rang to say he wasn’t available. Hopefully he’s okay by Boxing Day.’

Coleen’s outing came after the couple’s high-profile marriage was reportedly on the rocks following Wayne’s wild night out in September.

The embarrassing incident saw the Everton star arrested for drink driving when he was behind the wheel of party girl Laura Simpson’s car.

Since then Coleen and Wayne have reconciled their relationship and claim to be working on their marriage despite the ‘s**t’ situation’.

The couple raise Kai, four-year-old Klay and one-year-old Kit together.

Insisting she is a ‘strong person’ and doesn’t need people to feel sorry for her, Coleen set the record straight once and for all about her marriage recently.

The WAG explained: ‘A few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my mind and it’s something I want to try and work on. No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left.

‘Yes, it has been a s**t time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end. I’m not going to list Wayne’s good qualities as a person as I don’t think he deserves it at this time but one thing is that he is a brilliant dad.

‘He’s made silly and selfish mistakes, some he’s learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change? In life, you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.’
