‘A question to all the mummas’: Laura Byrne asks for pregnancy advice as she prepares to welcome her first child with partner Bachelor Matty J

Bachelor Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson and partner Laura Byrne confirmed they are expecting their first child together earlier this month.

And on Saturday, the expectant mother-to-be shared her very first pregnancy woe, and asked fans for some friendly advice to deal with it.

Taking to Instagram, Laura shared a snap holding her adorable little nephew Archer, while asking her followers how they dealt with their pregnancy pigmentation.

It comes after the former Bachelor stars made the announcement in an interview with The Daily Telegraph, revealing that they are 15 weeks into the pregnancy.

‘I couldn’t think of a better way to end the year,’ Matty, 31, told the newspaper.

The joyful news is undoubtedly all the sweeter for the longtime couple given they suffered a devastating miscarriage earlier in the year.

After discovering they were expecting back in June, the couple tragically lost the baby seven weeks into the pregnancy.

‘We’d heard so many stories about how it had been so difficult for some people, and obviously we thought it was going to be difficult for me because of what had already happened,’ Laura, 32, said of falling pregnant a second time around.

‘When you’ve had a miscarriage, you worry if there is something wrong with you.’

Prior to their late-night announcement, Matty had hinted earlier that day that the couple could be expecting a child when he joked about baby names.

Speaking on his Nova 96.9 summer breakfast show, the former reality star said he wants to name his firstborn ‘something crazy’.

‘I wanna call my child something crazy like Moon, or Phoenix, or River,’ he told co-hosts Sarah McGilvray and Matt de Groot.

He explained his reason for wanting a unique name for his child was because he and his siblings – Tom, David, Matt, Adam and Kate – have ‘quite boring’ names.
