Pregnant Lea Michele shows off her growing bump in a tight black leotard during a stroll with husband Zandy Reich – as the couple prepare to welcome their second child

She’s set to welcome her second child in a matter of weeks.

And Lea Michele continued to show off her blossoming bump as she headed out for a stroll with her husband Zandy Reich in New York on Tuesday.

The Glee star, 37, cut a relaxed figure in a tight black leotard and a loose striped shirt as she headed into Tribeca with her spouse.

Cradling her bump, Lea accessorised her look with black slip-on sandals and a matching cross-body handbag.

She and Zandy announced in March that they were expecting their second child, a baby girl, after welcoming their son Ever in August 2020.

Lea recently revealed that she had to go on bedrest due to heavy bleeding while she was expecting her son.

‘I still was uncertain if the pregnancy was going to last,’ the Spring Awakening star said. ‘It was horrible. It was the lowest I’ve been in my entire life.’

Thankfully, Lea’s son was born safe and healthy and the actress said the terrifying experience brought her and husband Zandy closer.

‘Having our son and experiencing the challenges that we did throughout the pregnancy was something that unfortunately created a stronger bond in us,’ she said on The Drew Barrymore Show.

The Broadway star also celebrated a pregnancy first in March as she took the stage at Radio City Music Hall for President Joe Biden’s record-breaking $25 million fundraiser.

‘So, I’ve never sung pregnant ever before,’ she explained on her Instagram Story in a video for her 8.3 million followers.

‘And I just decided why not for the first time come to Radio City, one of the most amazing, iconic venues in the whole world, to sing “Don’t Rain on My Parade”?’ added Michele.

Lea – who tied the knot with Zandy in 2019 – previously admitted that motherhood has changed her entire outlook on life, explaining that she’s become less career-focused since she gave birth to her baby boy.

The Scream Queens actress confessed to previously having lots of ‘blind spots’ because she was so career-minded in her outlook.

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Lea explained: ‘It was all about my career. I’ve been so career-focused my entire life, I think to a fault.

‘I think I have this sense of drive that created a lot of blind spots for me in my life.’

Prior to that, the Broadway star admitted that becoming a mother had ‘softened’ her in some ways.

She told Extra: ‘I feel like it definitely has softened me a lot and I probably could have used a little softening, and he really is just the thing that has changed me the most and I’m so grateful.’
