Megan Fox purchased a new $8 million home in Los Angeles amid her her shock split from Machine Gun Kelly.
The purchase comes weeks after the actress, 38, announced she is pregnant with her and 34-year-old Kelly’s first child together.
Sources told TMZ on Wednesday that the exes hadn’t been living together throughout the past year.
MGK reportedly bought a house years ago and always had guests at the home, leaving Fox concerned about safety and prompting her to live at her own place.
According to insiders, the Transformers siren has been renting over the last 12 months and is ready to put down roots.
Per TMZ’s account, Megan will move into the new home — which she bought before the breakup — soon.

It was noted that the pair never intended to live together, even when they were still an item.
Fox ended her relationship with MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, after she suspected he had been texting other women.
She called off the nearly five-year romance over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado.
‘Megan was just done with all of it,’ one person close to the stars told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘She was done with his behavior and the way that he treated her.
‘When she fell pregnant, he thought it meant that she would stay with him no matter what — and it is not the case.
‘The most important thing in Megan’s world right now is her unborn baby and she has no problem raising the child on her own.’
The source added, ‘She’s left him before, but this time seems final. Her friends support her wholeheartedly and over the past few years they have grown to really dislike him.
‘Her friends were worried this was going to happen.’

Another insider told DailyMail.com that Megan grew tired of their ‘high-school relationship’ which was marked by ‘never-ending’ drama.
‘The way they operate is drama,’ it was said. ‘It’s like a never-ending high school relationship. For weeks and months, everything was fine but when they get into fights, it is all or nothing. It took a turn for the worst during Thanksgiving.
‘She is convinced Colson is cheating on her, or has cheated on her. She has accused him of texting a bunch of girls and if it hasn’t led to physical cheating, it is emotional cheating in her eyes. Now, Colson is trying to get back on track with her.’
Megan is around six months pregnant and is set to welcome their child in March.
