Premier League release list of televised fixtures for April

Premier League release list of televised fixtures for April, with Manchester City and Liverpool set to meet on Sunday 10 April in crucial title clash

Manchester City and Liverpool will go head-to-head in a crunch title clash on Sunday 10 April after the Premier League announced its next set of televised fixtures.

Liverpool can move within three points of champions City with a victory over Leeds United at Anfield tonight, with Jurgen Klopp’s men hunting down their rivals who had held a seemingly unassailable lead.

Now, the Premier League has announced that the title rivals will meet on Sunday 10 April at 4.30pm on Sky Sports, although that date is subject to change depending on how the two teams fare in the Champions League.

City and Liverpool are likely to advance to the quarter finals in this year’s competition, and should they be scheduled to play on Tuesday April 12, then the Premier League tie will move to Saturday 9 April, with a 5.30pm kick off.

Liverpool will also be on TV earlier in the month, when former boss Roy Hodgson takes his Watford side to Anfield on Saturday 2 April, kick off 12.30pm on BT Sport.

Meanwhile, the race for fourth place will be extensively covered, with Manchester United on TV twice at the start of April.

The visit of Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester side will be shown on Sky Sports at 5.30pm on Saturday 2 April while their trip to Goodison Park to take on Frank Lampard’s Everton will be on BT Sport the following Saturday, a lunchtime kick off.

On Sunday 3 April, West Ham host the Toffees at 2pm on Sky Sports, which is followed by Spurs v Newcastle on the same channel at 4.30pm.

More to follow.
