Pretty Little Thing trousers Twitter review goes viral

Ordering clothes online is always a risk as you never know if you’ll get the right fit or if something will really suit you before you buy it.

And one woman learned that the hard way when she ordered a pair of trousers from Pretty Little Thing.

Twitter user Dan, 19, from Edinburgh, ordered a pair of red flared trousers from the online retailer, but was shocked by what actually got delivered.

The trousers were so long that they dragged on the floor, which Dan said made her look like she had ‘flippers’.

Her tweet quickly went viral, with many other Pretty Little Thing shoppers saying the same thing had happened to them.

Dan, 19, from Edinburgh, ordered a pair of trousers from Pretty Little Thing that turned out to very long. She took to Twitter to share her snap

The trousers cost a mere £11 on the website and are made from a bright red jersey material.

But the bargain proved too good to be true, and the trousers were bizarrely long on the surprised customer that bought them.

Dan tweeted a picture of herself holding the trousers up to her body for comparison, and they stretched from her ankles to her chest.

She captioned the picture: ‘Seriously???? Do Pretty Little Thing think am f***ing Slenderman?’

She then posted a picture of herself wearing the trousers, saying: ‘I’ve got flippers.’

Dan’s tweet has now been liked and retweeted over 145,000 times and several shoppers have come forward saying they’ve had the same issue.

One shared a picture of herself holding up the trousers, which reached from the floor to her chest.

Another frustrated shopper put the trousers on and they dragged along the floor.

A third shared a video of herself walking in the trousers, which completely covered her shoes and kicked out as she walked.

Another customer tweeted: ‘I brought a size 4! And mine are exactly the same length I have to wear platform heels and they still touch the floor.’

‘I thought it was just my 5’3″ as not being tall enough. I ordered another pair of PLT trousers yesterday and I’m having deep regrets now,’ another posted.

MailOnline has contacted Pretty Little Thing and is awaiting comment.
