WHAT IS THE MENOPAUSE?

Menopause is when a woman stops having periods, and is no longer able to get pregnant naturally.

It usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55.

It is a normal part of ageing and caused by levels of the sex hormone oestrogen dropping.

Some women go through this time with few, if any, symptoms.

Others suffer from hot flushes, sleeping difficulties, mood swings and brain fog, which can last for months or years and might change over time.

HRT replaces the hormones and is the main treatment used to treat symptoms — which can be severe and disrupt day-to-day life.

Menopause happens when your ovaries stop producing as much of the hormone oestrogen and no longer release an egg each month.

‘This range has been two years in development and testing to ensure we created innovative and novel products designed specifically to relieve one of the most frequent symptoms associated with menopause, hot flushes.’

The menopause occurs when periods stop due to lower hormone levels, something that usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55.

People have turned to TikTok to try out the new range and many have labelled it ‘genius’.

Chris Fairley, from Liverpool, took to his account @chris_fairley to showcase the clothing range with his followers.

The clip, which racked up over 102,000 views, shows off the high-waist briefs and cami tops.

One person wrote: ‘Yasss. This is genius. I need this. Not menopausal but leaky!’

Another said: ‘I need to get down to Primark.’ While someone else wrote: ‘omg I even need these and not in menopause, wheres my card and keys.’
