Prince George steals the show at another wedding (but sister Princess Charlotte looks unimpressed)

They stole the show at their uncle Prince Harry’s wedding earlier this year.

And when Prince George and Princess Charlotte acted as a pageboy and bridesmaid on Saturday, all eyes were again on the two little royals.

Five-year-old George – in a collarless white shirt, sky-blue knickerbockers, white stockings and white loafers – seemed in particularly playful mood.

He laughed and giggled – and even led his fellow pageboys in a game of soldiers, marching around the church drive after the ceremony. Earlier he had poked his head out of the church porch several times as he waited for the bride to arrive.

Charlotte, three, in a white dress with blue piping and circlet of flowers, seemed unimpressed with his antics, frowning as she clutched a posy and a blue bag.

Accompanied by their parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they were among seven excited youngsters taking part in the wedding of Sophie Carter, one of Kate’s best friends, to Robert Suggs at St Andrew’s Church in Letheringsett, Norfolk.

Kate’s brother James and their parents Michael and Carole Middleton, who have all known Sophie since she was a schoolgirl, were also there, but sister Pippa, whose first baby is due imminently, was absent.

Sophie is a member of the ‘Turnip Toffs’ that make up William and Kate’s set around their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, and is one of Charlotte’s godmothers.
