Princess Beatrice hits the town with Eugenie and boyfriend

They spent the afternoon mingling with senior members of the royal family for the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch.

And it seems Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie didn’t want the fun to end as they hopped across town for a night out in Soho on Wednesday evening.

Prince Andrew’s daughters were spotted leaving an exclusive member’s club in central London last night in what onlookers said looked like a ‘double date’.

Eugenie, 27, was accompanied by her long-term boyfriend, nightclub manager Jack Brooksbank , while Beatrice, 29, was joined by a mystery male companion.

The foursome could be seen leaving the venue, where Meghan Markle is believed to have been wined and dined by Prince Harry in the early stages of their relationship, in the early hours of the morning.

Eugenie opted for a smart black coat with military-style gold buttons, while her older sister stayed warm in an olive green number which she paired with bejewelled plimsolls.

The sisters appeared to be in good spirits as they left Soho House arm-in-arm at the end of the night and got into a waiting car.

They are believed to have been heading back to St James’s Palace, where Beatrice lives in a four-bedroom apartment.

It came after an afternoon of festivities at Buckingham Palace in which Prince Harry’s fiancée is said to have won over her future in-laws by pulling a cracker with Prince Charles, donning a paper hat and reading out a corny joke.

An insider told the Mail’s Rebecca English that the princess-in-waiting appeared slightly nervous initially but soon began to dazzle, with relatives queuing up to meet the prince’s glamorous bride-to-be for the first time.

The source said: ‘Everyone wanted to meet Meghan and welcome her to the family and she didn’t disappoint.

‘She was obviously a bit nervous at first but she soon relaxed with Prince Harry’s help as he introduced her to everyone and then she really enjoyed it.

‘Harry was clearly very happy and very proud of her and everyone thought she was delightful. It was your typical Christmas lunch in spite of who was there – turkey, crackers… the lot. ’
