Princess Mary has launched an anthology on domestic violence in Copenhagen.

The 48-year-old was all smiles as she attended the event on Friday, alongside The Mary Foundation and Lev Uden Violence.

The Danish royal, who was dressed in navy pants and black heeled boots, beamed as she sat among a crowd of women.

She coordinated her red jacket – worn over a navy high-neck knit – with a matte handbag, which had a silver clasp.

Princess Mary was snapped speaking to the attendees from the podium, where she appeared to sincerely deliver her message about violence.

A butterfly brooch was pinned to the princess’s chest, reflecting the logo of her charity The Mary Foundation.

‘The objective of The Mary Foundation is to improve the lives of children, adults and families who – as a result of their environment, heredity, illness or other circumstances – find themselves socially isolated or excluded from society,’ the foundation’s website states.

‘The Foundation aims to fulfil its objective by creating opportunities for these individuals and giving them a sense of affiliation and of belonging to a community.

‘Furthermore, the Foundation undertakes to encourage tolerance and understanding of diversity and to create hope.’

Princess Mary was praised earlier in the week for re-wearing her favourite sixties-inspired Prada dress.

The royal wore the collared dress as far back as 2015, when she visited the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

She has since worn it on five other occasions – including in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and this week.

On Thursday, Princess Mary attended the Ministry of Education and Research’s EliteForsk awards in Copenhagen – where she wore the dress with a grey coat, nude stilettos and a bouncy blow dry.

Princess Mary has frequently been voted the ‘world’s most stylish royal’ by Hello! magazine – beating out stiff competition from the likes of Kate Middleton and Queen Letizia of Spain.

She has also gained a name for herself for wearing and re-wearing classic items in her wardrobe, often being called the ‘Princess of thrift’.

Princess Mary and Prince Frederik have been splitting their time between Denmark and Switzerland, as they balance parenting with their royal duties.
