Pro-Palestinian protesters storm into 30 Rock as Biden films interview with talk show host Seth Meyers: Demonstrators say they will NOT vote for Joe until there’s a ceasefire in Gaza and call for an end to the ‘genocide’

Pro-Palestinian protesters stormed the lobby of New York’s Rockefeller Center to send a message to President Joe Biden, who was taking part in a taping of Late Night with Seth Meyers upstairs. 

Demonstrators were armed with several large signs and chanted ‘end the siege of Gaza now.’ 

The signs read ‘Jews to Biden: End Israel’s Siege of Gaza’ and ‘the whole world is watching.’ 

In one video from the scene, a New York City Police Department officer uses a megaphone to tell the crowd they will be arrested for trespassing if they don’t disperse. 

Several protesters were then seen getting arrested by the NYPD.

The protesters were calling for a ceasefire to save the civilian population of Gaza from the Israeli military, which has been trying to root out Hamas after the October 7 terror attack 

Biden was a surprise guest for Meyers’ 10th anniversary episode of the late night show. 

The president appeared on the show alongside comedian Amy Poehler. 

He was Meyers’ first guest in 2014, during his tenure as President Barack Obama’s vice president. 

During a gaggle on board Air Force One heading to New York Monday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked to confirm that Biden would be appearing on Meyers show and if the secrecy was to keep away protesters. 

‘I don’t have anything on that, if we have more to share certainly we will,’ she said when asked about an appearance on Meyers’ show. 

‘I don’t have anything else to share on that,’ she added when asked the White House was concerned about protests, which is why details about the president’s schedule were not being shared.
