A propane heater is believed to have exploded inside a trailer in Mississippi on Monday afternoon, killing three people and injuring two others.
Authorities in Jasper County received a report of a fire that engulfed a trailer on a local highway.
Emergency crews who rushed to the scene discovered the bodies of three people who died from their injuries.
Two others who were hurt were rushed to a hospital, according to WDAM-TV.
‘We found three deceased victims in the trailer,’ Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson said.

‘We had heard that a man had been working on a propane heater that was in the house, but we’re still looking into it.’
The two injured victims – a 20-year-old woman and a young girl – were airlifted to a hospital in Jackson.
A young boy, 10, who was playing in the yard when the explosion took place was not harmed, according to authorities.
Autopsies are scheduled to take place at the Mississippi Crime Lab in Jackson.
The identities of the victims have yet to be released publicly as authorities notify next of kin.
