Prosecutors ‘are planning to DROP the charges against Scottie Scheffler early next week’ – after world No 1’s shocking arrest at PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler appears increasingly likely to be let off without punishment after his arrest at the PGA Championship stunned the world on Friday morning.

Scheffler was pinned against a police car and thrown in a cell after a ‘huge misunderstanding’ outside Valhalla, when he tried to enter the premises and ended up ‘dragging a police officer 10 yards’ with his car.

Now, though, it is being reported that Scheffler will have the charges against him dropped. The world No. 1 is due to be arraigned on Tuesday morning.
