PSG 1-2 Manchester United PLAYER RATINGS: Axel Tuanzebe and Aaron Wan-Bissaka shine

Marcus Rashford hit the winner in Paris again as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side deservedly beat last season’s Champions League runners-up.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring for the visitors but the Ligue 1 giants were level after Anthony Martial headed the ball into his own net. But with minutes remaining Rashford proved to be the hero for a second time in France.

Here, Sportsmail’s Chris Wheeler runs the rule over both sides at the Parc des Princes.

PSG (4-3-3)

Penalty save counted for nothing but made a number of other great stops.

ALESSANDRO FLORENZI 6

On-loan Roma defender had his hands full with Alex Telles and United’s front two.

ABDOU DIALLO 6.5

Gave away the penalty but atoned with several great interception tackles.

The man whose handball cost PSG last time was more reliable on this occasion.

Got forward well and should have scored from point-blank range in first half.

Ex-Everton man was solid but first to be subbed as PSG sought creative spark.

His debut ended badly as he lost Rashford in the build-up to winning goal.

ANDER HERRERA 6

Former United man wanted to make an impression against his old club. He didn’t.

Been a thorn in United’s side before but closest he came was a curling shot easily saved/

Poor. Worried United with his running from deep early on but faded after that.

Impressive debut. The Brazilian’s ability to whip in set-piece deliveries will come in useful.
