PSG esports replace FIFA player Agge with Maniika

Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of another professional FIFA player, Johan ‘Maniika’ Simon, just weeks before the release of FIFA 18.

The Frenchman is a lifelong fan of PSG and is a veteran of the competitive FIFA scene.

He has competed at the last two FIFA Interactive World Cups and this year will hope to progress further in the tournament. He also recently won the French Orange e-Ligue 1 cup.

After joining the team, he said: ‘I am truly honoured to join one of the best clubs in the world which has always been my beloved club.

‘I have accomplished one of my biggest dreams, signing for the PSG e-Sports, and I hope to accomplish another one by becoming the world champion wearing that prestigious shirt.’

The news comes after PSG recently announced the departure of one of their biggest FIFA stars, August ‘Agge’ Rosenmeier.

Agge is a well known name in the FIFA esports scene but he was released after a disappointing year by his high standards. He has yet to find a new team but has said he will continue to compete in FIFA 18.
