However, the police quickly arrived and arrested three of the four criminals – a 21-year-old adult and two 16-year-old minors. They were placed in police custody by the Versailles judicial police.

A police officer suffered a knee injury in the process of detaining them.

RMC reported a knife was found at the scene and various items stolen from the house were found on the suspects.

Letellier is currently PSG’s third-choice goalkeeper, behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas in the pecking order.

He has played just twice for the French champions since arriving from Orleans in 2020.

Letellier stated his career at the Parc des Princes and has also played for French club Angers.

The footballer, his wife Michele and their three children were not at the property at the time of the raid.

Belgian news outlet HLN said items had been taken but no further details were available. The burglars used a stepladder to reach the first floor of the property in Bolderberg, Heusden-Zolder.
