Kylian Mbappe has been applauded by fans after he made sure to high-five all of the young mascots before Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League encounter with Club Brugge.

The Frenchman was filmed returning to the dressing rooms following his pre-match warm-up before stooping low to acknowledge each of the youngsters inside the Jan Breydel Stadium tunnel.

While it remains a small gesture on the footballer’s part, many fans flocked to social media to applaud Mbappe for making each mascot’s day on Tuesday evening.

One fan simply said, ‘It’s the little things’ while another claimed Mbappe is the ‘best thing football has going for it at the moment’.

And while he made a group of mascots’ day, Mbappe also pleased the whole PSG fanbase with his performance in Bruges.

The 20-year-old started Tuesday’s game on the bench before being called on in the 52nd minute to make a difference and that’s exactly what he did.

Mbappe then went on to grab his second after rounding the goalkeeper in the 79th minute before completing his hat-trick inside 22 minutes, earning him the match ball at the end of play.

It was his sixth goal of the campaign in eight games across all competitions while he has also assisted four in that same time.
