Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has slammed Zinedine Zidane for talking up Kylian Mbappe’s ‘dream’ of moving to Real Madrid.
The La Liga giants boss said he was aware it is the World Cup winner’s ‘dream’ to play for the club earlier this week.
Mbappe featured in PSG’s 1-0 victory over Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday night and after the match PSG’s chief responded to Zidane’s remarks.

‘Honestly, it’s a bit irritating, it’s annoying, it’s not the first time this has happened,’ Leonardo said.
‘I think that now is not the time to talk about this.
‘He is a player who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract with us, so to talk about what he wants, his “dream”, every time… If we can just stop this, pause this talk.

‘Kylian is a very important player for us. Now is not the time to destabilise him.’
Mbappe’s current contract at the French giants runs until the summer of 2022 and PSG are reportedly looking to fend off interest from Madrid by offering him a lucrative new contract.
PSG will offer Mbappe a deal that he simply cannot refuse – one that would see him move in line with Neymar by earning £35million per season, according to Le Parisien.
