Pumpkin refuses to let Mama June live with her if boyfriend Geno goes to jail: ‘This is too much’

The finale of Mama June: Road to Redemption ended on a high note, after a season of watching the Shannon family anxiously await the results of June’s criminal trial.

The 41-year-old reality star, who was charged with possession of crack cocaine back in 2019 and facing the possibility of serving two years in prison, was sentenced to 100 hours of community service.

Additionally, she must remain employed and be under court supervision for a year.

Sweet freedom: The finale of Mama June: Road to Redemption ended on a high note, after a season of watching the Shannon family anxiously await the results of June’s criminal trial

The rest of episode, however, chronicled the days before June went to court as they feared the worst, beginning with Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson looking uneasy as she did her homework.

‘What’s your problem? You’re acting real weird. You’re being all gloomy,’ June’s second oldest daughter Jessica, 24, asked Alana, 15, who immediately got emotional.

The Toddlers and Tiaras alum tearfully replied: ‘No teenager should have to go through this much drama. I’m over here worrying about if my mama’s gonna go to jail or not, diabetes results, and also wondering if Pumpkin’s even gonna have room for me once the baby comes.’

‘I mean, I’m happy for another little baby to be running around, but I just feel like I’m gonna be a burden more not than none now,’ Alana confessed.

While Alana pointed out Jessica was already sleeping on Pumpkin’s couch, her sibling assured her she already had ‘plans in process’ and was looking for a job.

In response, Alana cheekily suggests Jessica would ‘be making bank’ if she was a stripper.

Noticing that her sister was still being uncharacteristically withdrawn, Jessica asks again: ‘Alana, what’s your problem? You’re just so quiet. We can talk about anything else.’

‘I just been thinking about how Sugar Bear brought Jennifer to the party. She always wants to be the center of attention, and she come here, and she want to start with Mama. Like, that’s the first thing she did when she got here,’ Alana tells Jessica.

Additionally, Alana said she was confused that her father ‘always claims’ he wants to see her and have a relationship, but always brings her pot stirring stepmother.

‘I don’t think he really knows who I am,’ she sighed. ‘I just think I’m done with him. ‘Cause if I’m done with it all, there’s no reason for him to be in the picture, and there’s no reason for me to have to stress about it.’
