A pub has combined two very unlikely ingredients to create the perfect Australian day treat.
The Moose at Walton Stores in Toowoomba, Queensland has combined beer and ice cream to help punters cool off on January 26.
The Great Northern Beer-flavoured sorbet will be for sale at the pub over the Australia day weekend.

‘We were going for the most iconic Australian beer we could think of and mixing that with mango for summer time seemed like the perfect mix,’ owner of The Moose Aaron Goldie told The Chronicle.
‘It’s really nice and refreshing, especially in this heat we are having. It turned out really, really well.
‘We’ve got that novelty of being the first in Toowoomba to do a beer-flavoured sorbet and I think in this weather it will be really enjoyable.’
The sorbet will be available from January 26 to 28.
