Qld public sector report urges openess
The Queensland government has been urged to be more open and accountable about the performance of the public service in a report it waited a year to release.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Friday finally released the long-awaited KPMG report into the efficiency of the state’s public service, less than a week before the start of state budget estimate hearings.
The report recommends the government establish a public dashboard of public service objectives in addition to the current Service Delivery Statements which are already published.
