  • Stylish royal recycled bright red coat, paired with sartorial trousers from Mango
  • Mother-of-two turned to trusted pieces this Monday as met with female jurists

Queen Letizia of Spain put together a very elegant recycled look for an event in Madrid today.

The royal mother-of-two, 50, attended the 10th summit of Women Jurists in the Spanish capital, where female members of the profession gathered to discuss their contribution to the profession and gender equality.

For the occasion, Letizia donned a beloved Hugo Boss crimson wrap coat she has worn several times in the past, and paired it with checked black and white trousers from Mango she debuted in 2017 and a leather top she first wore in 2016.

This outing comes as King Felipe’s wife displayed her feminine side in stunning polka dot dress as she hands out prestigious awards in Valencia last week.

She has been acing her stylish looks with an edge this month, recently donning red leather trousers for a visit to a Barcelona hospital.

For today’s outing, stylish Letizia balanced the bright coat on her shoulders like a cape as she arrived for the summit.

The wrap coat has been a  staple of her winter wardrobe for years and often makes an appearance at royal events in the rub up to Christmas.

Adding a pop of colour with the woolen number, Letizia kept the rest of the look simple.

She let her checked trousers do the talking, pairing them with a discreet pair of black leather stilettos.

She added an edge to the business-ready attired with a leather top from Uterque with poking studs she first wore at the Francisco Cerecedo journalism awards ceremony in 2016.

Wrapped up in her coat, Letizia showed up at today’s summit without a bag, and kept her jewellery to a minimum, sporting only a pair of diamond studded earrings and her beloved Karen Hallam ring.

The mother-of-two also rocked her natural hair, with her now trademark grey streak in show, styled in a bouncy lawyered blow-dry.

She donned a glamourous makeup with a blush pink eyeshadow and a trait of eyeliner, with some blush bringing some colour to her cheeks.

The summit she attended this morning aims to raise awareness on the importance of equality between men and women in all aspects of society.

This comes as she showed her softer side yesterday, wearing a long feminine polka dot dress to the 34th Rei Jaume awards in Valencia.

The awards are given annually to recognise achievements in research in a range of subjects, from economics to medicine.

And each winner was awarded 100,000 euros and a gold medal.

The Spanish monarch accompanied her husband King Felipe of Spain to the ceremony and looked in great spirits as she waved to crowds.
