Queen Letizia of Spain cut an elegant figure this evening as she attended the National Culture Awards in Madrid, alongside her husband King Felipe.

The Spanish royal couple were at the Prado Museum to present the awards to those in the creative fields.

Looking effortlessly stylish, mother-of-two Letizia, 49, opted for a blue wrap dress with contrasting burgundy heels for her ensemble.

The mother-of-two completed her look by wearing her glossy brunette hair in a fashionable up-do. Meanwhile, King Felipe looked dapper in a black suit with a vibrant yellow tie. 

Putting safety first, the royal couple donned face masks as they met with award winners and guests. 

Letizia completed her sophisticated ensemble with a touch of makeup, opting for a radiant smokey eye look.

It’s been a busy day for Letizia, with the Spanish queen joining husband King Felipe to receive the president of Angola in Madrid, today.

The royal couple hosted a luncheon at the Royal Palace for Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco and his wife Ana Afonso Dias Lourenco, who are on an official visit to the country. 

Looking typically polished, Letiziaopte d for a stylish fuchsia midi dress which featured a fitted waist, flared hem, french sleeves and box neckline paired with killer snakeskin heels.   

She initially debuted the dress on the seventh anniversary of the Proclamation of King Felipe VI at the Royal Palace of Madrid in June.

It was the first time the Spanish monarch wore a piece by the Madrid-based fashion designer, whose eponymous womenswear label was founded in 2011.  

The €390 (£336) dress is from the designer’s SS21 collection and is currently available to purchase online in navy and red.

Letizia was effortlessly chic as she received the guests, keeping her look simple with some dainty teardrop earrings and no handbag. 

Her brown tresses were bouncy and loose around her shoulders while for her make-up look the mother-of-two opted for a subtle smokey eye, light eyeliner and touch of bronzer.

The First Lady of Angola opted for a blue satin tailored skirt with a matching jacket which featured elaborate floral detailing.  

She paired her look with a matching pair of blue court heels alongside a classic pearl necklace and wore a blue face covering throughout the event. 

King Felipe, 53, cut a handsome figure in a navy blue suit, paired with a white shirt and blue silk tie. He also wore a white face covering throughout the event.
