The mother-of-four wore her blonde locks down and opted for a natural make-up look.

Her visit forms part of the Week of Care, which is an initiative created by organisation Dag van de Zorg (Day of Care), opening its doors on Sunday for people to meet the 300 participating groups this year.

During today’s visit, the Queen beamed at waiting crowds and was handed flowers by one young girl.

She is visiting De Kindervriend to understand the curriculum and framework in place for the children, participating in a number of activities.

It comes after she was in Greece earlier this month for a three-day state visit with King Philippe.

While in Sounio, the royal, 49, showed off her style credentials in a smart blue and white belted dress which she paired with a large woven summer hat to keep the blazing sun at bay.

The couple beamed as they posed in front of the Temple of Poseidon and in a rare moment of PDA, King Philippe sweetly held his wife hand to help her across the uneven ground outside the temple after their photo call.

Mathilde is mother to Princess Elisabeth, 20, Prince Gabriel, 18, Prince Emmanuel, 16 and Princess Eléonore, 14.

Her eldest Princess Elisabeth, the heir apparent to the throne juggles her degree in history and politics in Oxford with military training back home in Belgium.

The future queen spent the last weekend of her Easter holiday at a training course in Leopoldsburg, near the Dutch border.

This summer Elisabeth will return to Belgium for a camp run by the the Royal Military Academy (RMA), the university of the Belgian Defense, responsible for the academic, military and physical training of its future officers.

Elisabeth enrolled in a course with the RMA in September 2020 and remains involved in training despite being a full-time first-year student at Oxford.
