Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is elegant in sky blue shirt dress

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands lent a compassionate ear to students during an event this afternoon.

The mother-of-three, 52, put on an elegant display as she travelled to the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Den Bosch.

She was attending the release of Harder Better Faster Stronger, a study of stress and performance pressure among students in higher education.

For the occasion, she donned a flattering sky blue day dress with beige accessories.

Máxima arrived at the university donning the blue dress, cinched at the waist with a large built-in belt and oversized rolled up sleeves.

Her blonde locks were tied into a heat-proof updo, and she wore s glamourous day makeup with a generous trait of eyeliner on each eye, mascara and a shimmery shade of eyeshadow

The day number was buttoned up at the front, opening into a daring split that revealed the royal’s sun-kissed tan.

Stylish Máxima paired it with beige leather heels and a clutch of the same tone for her essentials.

Known for her love of accessories, the Dutch Queen opted for a pair of silver and cyan drop earrings with gold bracelets.

The royal, who just returned from a three-day trip to Brazil, enhanced her natural tan with just a dash of bronzer and highlighter.

During the event, the mother-of-three attended a panel, which presented the report’s fondings to the public.

She later sat down with students and learned about the pressure some felt to perform in their higher education.

Ever dedicated to better the student experience across the Netherlands, the royal also dutifully took notes of what she was told during her visit.

It has been a busy few days for Máxima, who yesterday visited a community centre to mark Neighbours Day across the Netherlands.

The-mother-of-three looked stylish in a chic floor length satin skirt which she paired with a oversized white shirt.

The flowy colourful ensemble donned her signature bright colours with a floral pattern in orange, blue, red and green.

She cinched in her waistline with a chunky brown belt and accessorised with orange earrings.

Her blonde locks fell loose and her glam makeup enhanced her flawless complexion.

Neighbours Day is organised every year by the Orange Fund and Douwe Egberts with the aim of celebrating and promoting contact between neighbours.
