She paired the dusty rosewood floppy hat with perfectly complementing earrings in pink and green.

Proving her natural good looks, the royal opted for a light make-up look with a hint of pink around her eyes and lips.

The couple were on a regional visit to Salland, the Netherlands, and without their three daughters Catharina-Amalia, 17, Princess Alexia, 16, and Princess Ariane, 14.

They visited local businesses and Maxima was given a stunning bouquet of flowers by a local. 

The parents were back today, after waving goodbye to their middle daughter Alexia earlier this month.

The Princess has come to study in the UK at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales. 

She enrolled on a £67,000, two-year course to study for her International Baccalaureate diploma alongside heir to the Spanish throne Princess Leonor, 15. 

The school, situated in a 12th century castle in the Vale of Glamorgan, offers activities and subjects like Tai Chi and Tibetan literature, leading it to be nicknamed ‘Hippie Hogwarts’.
