Two Queensland men have been charged with torture after an injured man fled to a police station and told officers he’d been held for months against his will.
Onshow Vaafusuaga, 20, did not appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday as his matter was briefly mentioned.
Vaafusuaga and another man, 23, have been charged with one count each of torture and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

Vaafusuaga did not apply for bail and has been remanded in custody with his matter adjourned until April 18.
His co-accused is due to face the same court later on Monday.
The pair were charged after a 25-year-old man presented himself to Beenleigh police station on Sunday afternoon.
The man told police he’d endured a long and violent ordeal at a property in the Logan suburb of Kingston, south of Brisbane.
He was taken to hospital and treated for cuts and bruises.
The circumstances of the man’s escape remain unknown.
