The exchange with his spouse, ex-supermodel Gisele Bündchen, was captured for the their Facebook docu-series called Tom vs. Time, according to USA Today.
The pronouncement has caused many New England Patriot fans to shudder, thinking their five-time Super Bowl winning quarterback could hang up his cleats after the 2019 season.

Brady, who has enjoyed a storied career since being drafted by the Patriots in 2000, is 40-years-old, ancient in the world of professional football where the average career length spans 3.3 years, according to NFL Players Association.
The two-time league MVP has stated in the past, however, that he would like to play until the age of 45, still showing that he has the drive to compete.

And that spirit will definitely be tested come Sunday when Brady takes on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.
‘He can have as many Super Bowls as he likes,’ Gisele said for episode No. 5, which was shown Friday at an exclusive screening.
‘Your first love’s your first love,’ Brady said of football as the episode came to a close. ‘And I want to keep doing it because I think I can.’
‘When the day comes when I feel like I can’t do it anymore, whether even physically, which I doubt, or more mentally that I won’t be able to, you know, give what I need to to the other parts of my life, I’ll say it’s enough. But it’s not going to be for a while, though,’ he added.
Creator and principle photographer of the social media documentary, Gotham Chopra, said that it took him nearly half a decade to convince Brady to let him film some of the most intimate moments of his private life.
Chopra, son of celebrity physician Dr. Deepak Chopra, said Brady finally gave him the green-light in April, saying that he wanted to ‘show everybody how’ someone can play NFL caliber football at 40.

Brady says that the goal of winning Super Bowls is not to satisfy others, but to extract the best of himself in order to fulfill his own purpose
‘People ask me all the time, ‘What surprises you most?” Chopra said of the access and openness, according to USA Today. ‘All of it.’
In one telling moment in episode five, Brady tells the filmmaker: ‘When I’m out on the field in front of 70,000 people, I can really be who I am, with my raw emotion and my energy and if I want to scream at somebody, I can scream at somebody.’
‘That’s why I probably love football so much,’ he continues, adding: ‘Because it allows me to be who I am in a very authentic way that’s hard for me to be when I walk off the field.’
Brady also reveals, at times, his more candid and vulnerable moment during filming.
‘Are there times I’m frustrated, that I feel things are said about me that I wish I could defend? Yeah,’ he said. ‘But I don’t want to go into that mud everyday. Because I know that once I engage I’ll have to re-engage, and I don’t like fighting.
‘That creates inner conflict in me. That’s why I do need to protect myself. If I’m putting all my energy out in all these other places, 20 different areas, then I won’t get to be who I want to be.’
Brady adds that the goal of winning Super Bowls is not to satisfy others, but to extract the best of himself in order to fulfill his own purpose.
‘It’s to satisfy myself,’ he said. ‘And if I’m satisfied with myself, I’m good. I really am. I feel good.
‘I’m going to live a very purposeful life. I want to create change and positivity and … and I want to do that being who I am.’
