Rachael Finch has shown that not even Christmas can stop her family’s quest for fitness.
While many children across the country spent yesterday morning pulling presents from stuffed stockings, Rachael’s children had a different agenda
The 35-year-old model and TV personality, who shares a daughter, Violet, eight, and a son, Dominic, five, with her husband Michael Miziner, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share footage of the family exercising at a local playground.
In the video, Rachael showcased her trim frame in a pair of olive-coloured shorts and matching sports bra as she led an intense family workout session on Christmas morning.
She appeared focused as she guided Michael, Violet, and Dominic through a series of pyramid jump squats.
‘Come on, Violet. We can’t give up now!’ Rachael said in the video, motivating her daughter to complete the morning workout.

A shirtless Michael powered through the sets and also offered some words of encouragement to his son.
It seemed that Dominic had hit a wall during his training, prompting Michael to turn back and say, ‘Don’t sit, come on!’
Rachael also shared a photo of her family happily posing after their post-Christmas workout.
It appeared that the session agreed with Violet and Dominic, who both beamed as they huddled close with Michael for the picture.
Rachael’s family Christmas workout session comes after she and Michael were slammed after sharing a video showing her two children undergoing gruelling tennis training sessions.
The video, posted on Instagram last month, showcased the brother and sister engaging in a rigorous training routine that included strenuous box jumps on a park bench, squats, and serving drills.
Captioning the post, Rachael, who also took Violet and Dominic for a pre-Trick Or Treat workout in October, said that she and Michael, who also appeared in the video, were instilling a strong work-ethic in their young children.
‘They may or may not play at Wimbledon. But they will learn a lot about themselves and what they’re capable of in the process,’ she wrote.

One now former follower took severe umbrage with the video, feeling it necessary to reply to Rachael directly informing her that she had lost a fan.
‘Really horrible to watch. Unfollowing,’ the disgruntled fan wrote, which Rachael screenshot and shared to her Instagram story.
Appearing unperturbed by the negativity, Rachael captioned the post with a flippant: ‘Okie dokie.’
Aside from the negative message, Rachael’s video appeared to be met with a flurry of positivity from followers, with many praising the couple for instilling drive in their children.
‘What we live by,’ one follower wrote. ‘Proud of you all – it’s not easy but it’s damn worth the life lessons alone.’
Another chimed in with a similar: ‘Love this Rach!! I hope to emulate the same one day. Instilling discipline and work ethic from a young age is invaluable. They will love you for it.’
A third however, suggested that Rachael and Michael were still being too soft on their children, jokingly commenting: ‘Not pushing them hard enough.’
In April Rachael was branded an ‘almond mum’ and accused of ‘endangering’ her kids after sharing a video of herself making them ‘naked burgers’ using lettuce cups instead of bread rolls.

‘Almond mum’ is a pejorative term for a mother who pushes disordered and unhealthy eating habits on her children. It is often used to refer to parents who are ‘obsessed’ with nutrition.
A fired-up Rachael said the baseless accusation was frankly ‘hilarious’.
‘This was because I made naked burgers for dinner (meat patty and veggies wrapped in a lettuce cup),’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘Whilst it’s downright nasty, it’s also absurdly hilarious. I’ve become a pro at emotionally responding to these comments now.’
