Rachael Finch’s house was broken into while her young children were sleeping

Rachael Finch is left shaken after her house is broken into while her young children were asleep and challenges the intruders to ‘come again’: ‘You left without knowing our thoughts’

Rachael Finch was left shaken on Tuesday morning when her house was broken into in the middle of the night as her two young children, Violet, eight, and Dominic, five, were sleeping in their beds.

The former Miss Universe, 34, recalled the terrifying experience on Instagram, challenging the intruders to return so they could hear her ‘thoughts’ on the matter.

Sharing a selfie of herself looking worn out in bed after a long night, the model and TV presenter said police were about to arrive at her Sydney home to take fingerprints.

‘To the people who broke into our house last night while our children were sleeping in their beds thinking they were safe… please come again. You left without knowing our thoughts or feelings,’ she wrote.

‘Can I just say, Our police force is pretty damn awesome. Didn’t sleep much from early hours of this AM. Fingerprints being taken today.’

The last couple of weeks have been difficult for Rachael.

The break-in comes just days after she lashed out at a troll who said she was ‘abusing’ her children by ‘underfeeding them’.

Rachael is extremely passionate about health and rarely allows her kids to eat processed or sugary foods.

One of her social media followers cruelly commented on the way she feeds Violet and Dominic and claimed it will lead to eating disorders when they are older.

‘Hi Rachael, I’ve been following you for years, have bought most of your kissed earth products, however, I need to say, what your feeding your kids is a form of child abuse,’ they wrote.

‘They’re underfed, and extremely underweight. Please feed them more. You are denying them a childhood. I have no doubt Violet will grow up some form of eating disorder with what you feed her.’

Rachael, who shares her two children with her dancer husband Michael Miziner, took a screenshot of the comment and posted it on her Instagram page to shame the troll.

She was furious at the accusation and called the remarks dangerous, saying: ‘Child abuse. Eating disorder. Underfed. How would you respond? Would you respond?’

‘I feel lucky because I have the emotional support at home to help me deal with these types of comments, but for those who don’t this could be dangerous.

‘Despite the fact that this person has no clue about our child’s well-being besides a few food posts I make from time to time, it plays on your thoughts and feelings.’

She finished the rant by saying the troll didn’t have to agree with the way she raises her children, but they should keep their ‘damaging comments’ to themselves.
