She’s one of Australia’s most famous actresses.

And in the coming weeks, lucky Sydneysiders may be able to spot Rachael Taylor as she films her new movie in and around the harbour city.

On Saturday, shooting of the drama got underway in the CBD, with the stunning star seen slipping into costume for the period piece.

Turning back time! On Saturday, Rachael Taylor was seen on the set of her new period piece, Ladies In Black

The film, titled Ladies in Black, is coming-of-age story based on the novel by Madeleine St John.

Set in 1959, the film is described by IMDB as ‘an alluring and tender-hearted comedy drama about the lives of a group of department store employees’.

The 1950s look is a far cry from the way fans are used to seeing Rachael- who plays Trish Walker in the Netflix comic book series, Jessica Jones.
