Another actress has joined the growing list of stars going public with their stories about Harvey Weinstein.
Rachel Griffiths told the Daily Telegraph that she was warned by a ‘high-ranking female’ at Weinstein’s company Miramax not to be in a room alone with the disgraced movie producer.
The incident took place over two decades ago when Rachel went to Los Angeles are Miramax purchased the U.S. distribution rights to her iconic 1994 comedy Muriel’s Wedding.

‘When I landed in Hollywood after the acquisition of Muriel’s Wedding by Miramax I was pulled aside by a high-ranking female from Miramax and told, ‘Don’t ever be alone in a room with Harvey, ever’,’ she told the publication.
The 48-year-old added: ‘I took her advice and never was.’
Harvey is one of several Hollywood stars dealing with sexual assault allegations right now.

Prosecutors in Los Angeles announced on Thursday that the city will form a special task force assigned to sexual assault cases involving Hollywood figures.
Jackie Lacey, the district attorney of Los Angeles County, said on Thursday that the new task force would be assigned to oversee the investigations and prosecutions of people in the entertainment industry accused of sexual misconduct.
‘In response to the widespread allegations of sexual abuse in the entertainment industry, I have established a task force of specially trained deputy district attorneys who are ready to evaluate these cases if any are referred to my office for criminal prosecution,’ Lacey said.

‘I have assigned the group of veteran sex crimes prosecutors to work together to ensure a uniformed approach to the legal review and possible prosecution of any case that meets both the legal and factual standards for criminal prosecution.
‘To date, we have not received any cases from law enforcement for possible criminal filing.
‘We are in communication with the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills police departments.’
