All Creatures Great and Small Actress Rachel Shenton stepped out looking effortlessly cool as she attending a special VIP screening of the film The Colour Room on Thursday.

The actress, 33, looked amazing in a floor length dress which boasted a black and white check on the arms and a panel in the front and a grey patterned finish on the sides.

The dress cinched at the waist and plunge slightly at the bust which showcased her svelte figure.

Opting for a natural palette, she went bold with a bright red blush that accentuated her full pout. 

She finished the look with a chic black fedora hat and a pair of bright red ankle boots. 

She was joined at the screening by Downton Abbey star Phoebe Dynevor, who looked sensational in a plunging sheer sleeveless top which showed a hint of her black bra.

Pairing the outfit with a pair of blue denim jeans which accentuated her tiny waist.

Academy Award winner Rachel Shenton currently plays Helen Alderson in the Channel 5 reboot of the 80’s hit BBC series All Creatures Great and Small.   

The actress recently hit the headlines when she left her co stars shocked when she  performed a stunt for an episode of the  show   

According The Express Nicholas Ralph, who plays the Scottish vet James Herriot, addressed the daring scene that he and Rachel had to do for a recent episode.

The scene saw both Nicholas and Rachel sit on the top of a barn, which the actor said he was worried about not holding their weight.

He explained to ‘However, when I first saw the barn had a slate roof, I wondered if it was going to hold us but thankfully it was fine when we were actually up there.

‘We had to be harnessed on to the top.

‘But the top was flat and wide so once we were up there it was absolutely fine,’ he revealed.

Speaking about watching the scene back, Nicholas said: ‘Watching it after, I just thought, ‘This is stunning’   

Rachel open up about Alderson extended family ahead of the second series.

The star revealed that they have taken on more animals. 

She explained: ‘That there is a new pet called Scruff, real name Bobby’.

‘She’s a little working Cocker Spaniel and she was nine months old when she joined us, and she was super lively as she was a pup.’ 

However, she admitted the pooch does not always stick to the script or follow cues.
