Inside the festival, the songstress performed a spirited version of the show tune Gimme Gimme from the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Later this month, Rachel will kick off her role in the Shakespeare classic Romeo and Juliet, with preview performances beginning September 26.
The show was initially slated to run through January 2025, but dates have been added through February 16.
Zegler excitedly shared the news with her 2.2 million followers via her Instagram Story in late August.
She noted, ‘There isn’t a happier girl in the world this morning.’
The official opening night show is on October 24.
