A Tesco security guard was called a ‘f****** monkey n***** c***’ by a man outside the supermarket in Portsmouth.

The racist thug is restrained by another guard, who appears to be on the phone, while the man shouts the vile abuse to the other worker on Commercial Road near the Crasswell Street Tesco Superstore, around 10am on Saturday.

In the horrifying video, the man, who is wearing a dark baseball cap, grows more agitated and shouts ‘let go of me, I’m relaxed’.

He then spits out the racist slur in the face of the Tesco guard while the other, who is on the phone, slams his arm backwards and knocks his girlfriend away.

The man's girlfriend (pictured in a tracksuit) intervened and claimed 'he is not a racist'

His lover, who is dressed in a grey tracksuit, steps in and screams ‘he did nothing, I did it, you b******’ in the clip shared on social media.

The racist thug puts the worker in a headlock while the man, who was initially targeted with the vile abuse, tries to grab hold of the abusive man.

The clip, which was taken by George Underwood, 36, can be heard interrupting: ‘Stop it now, take him down boy. Racist c*** mate. Take him down.’

Moments later, one of the worker’s has secured a tight grip around the neck of the accused and holds him down.

The man is put into headlock outside the store after initially screeching at the team member's that he was 'calm' and to let him go. As the vile abuser struggles to hold himself in the tight grip of the men, he falls to the ground and George says 'put him to sleep mate'

The Tesco staff hold him back against the store’s wall and he pleads ‘I’m calm, let go of me’.

To which George replies: ‘No you’re not you’re a racist c***.’

As the man struggles to hold himself in the tight grip of the men, he falls to the ground and George says ‘put him to sleep mate’.

During the fight, the cameraman George intervenes by warning the girlfriend, who is insists her boyfriend is not racist, to not 'come near' him or 'I'll give you a backhand'. He offers his comment instead of idly standing by in the clip

The woman reappears and hysterically screams ‘he is not racist’.

But George replies: ‘Well he just called him a f****** monkey. “Don’t come near me love or I’ll give you a back hand.’

She screeches abuse at George and waits for the Tesco staff to let the man go.

As the video ends, the security man and his assistant are seen trying to restrain the man who lies in a heap on the ground.
