Radio host Jane Kennedy announces her shock departure from Triple M’s Kennedy Molloy show – admitting that juggling work commitments and looking after her five teenagers became ‘too hard’
Jane Kennedy has announced that she’s leaving Triple M’s daily national drive show, Kennedy Molloy.
The 56-year-old made the shock announcement on Friday, saying in a statement that she struggled to juggle looking after her five kids and her respective work commitments for the show.
Her co-star Mick Molloy, 54, will continue to host the show, which will now aptly be called Molloy.

‘This year marks my third VCE/HSC student in a row and I think most parents will understand what that means, particularly during a COVID lockdown bubble,’ Jane said in a statement released by Triple M on Friday, saying she cared about the show ’24/7′.
‘I tried to make both work but it’s just become too hard to keep that balance in check so I’m waving the white flag.’
She went on to praise co-host Mick and said it was ‘a joy and privilege to work with him.’
‘We are great friends,’ she said, adding she’s ‘so sad to leave.’

Mick said in a statement that Jane will be ‘missed’ and that she’s ‘irreplaceable.’
‘If she says she’s got too much on her plate then that’s the end of the argument,’ he said.
He cheekily added: ‘I guess I will have to chalk this up as yet another significant relationship with a woman that didn’t last as long as I would have liked.’
Mick will host his revamped show, Molloy, from Monday.
