Radio host Kyle Sandilands reveals his unconventional wedding plans

Kyle Sandilands is set to marry his fiancée Tegan Kynaston later this year.

And the radio presenter, 51, discussed his unconventional wedding plans on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday.

He told listeners it will be a unique ceremony with his personal touch on everything from the invitations to a strict ‘no dancing’ rule.

‘There will be no first dance. Tegan and I aren’t dancers,’ he told his shocked co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson. 

Kyle then said there will be no designated speakers at the ceremony, but a guest will instead be chosen at random to ‘ad lib’ a speech. 

However, he revealed Tegan had rejected an offer from KIIS FM management to ‘live broadcast’ the ceremony because she wasn’t ‘down for it’.

The couple has invited 130 people to the wedding, including A-Listers such as singer Guy Sebastian and The X Factor’s Samantha Jade.

Last year, Kyle revealed he had booked Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to DJ at his nuptials. 

Mr Albanese, an amateur DJ who loves music from the ’80s and ’90s, initially promised to perform at the wedding back in March, but most listeners assumed he was joking.

However, it seems the PM was dead serious, because in June he once again assured Kyle he would be spinning some tunes on his special day. 

‘That’s on!’ the Labor leader declared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. 

Kyle and marketing executive Tegan got engaged in Port Douglas over Christmas in 2021 and they welcomed their son Otto in August 

Jackie O didn’t seem convinced, saying: ‘So you’re going to keep your promise?’ and Mr Albanese assured her he would show up.

A thrilled Kyle said he’d make room in the venue’s car park for the politician’s armoured vehicle.

The shock jock later joked he wouldn’t let the PM back out of his commitment, saying ‘I would not disappoint my future bride!’
