Radio host Robin Bailey has been hit with heartbreak once again as she has split from her Belgian beau Olivier Massart after eight months of dating.
The KIIS 97.3 breakfast star, 54, told co-host Kip Wightman live on air she broke it off with her love because he was in the middle of divorce proceedings with his ex.
Robin and Olivier had a whirlwind romance, which began after the Belgian man left his ex, but it appears it couldn’t survive the stress of a legal battle.
‘He is still trying to sort out his settlement and divorce, and I don’t feel like there’s a place for me in that right now,’ Robin said.
‘It’s out of respect for his ex, for him, and for myself.’
The lovebirds began dating in February, but didn’t go public until April when Robin shared a series of romantic photos from their getaway to New Caledonia together.
A few weeks later, she shocked co-host Kip by sneaking Olivier into the studio in a disguise and passionately kissing him—at the time he was known only as Waffles.
Heartbroken by their split, Robin said she just couldn’t go on with Olivier as he continued to battle against his ex partner in court.

‘It’s one of the hardest things… and I’ve been through a lot of hard stuff,’ she said.
‘When you so enjoy someone and [you’re] compatible with them, and just love hanging out with them… but that is a part of him that I do not need to be a part of.
‘He needs to come to me when he’s 100 per cent ready, and not with baggage that could potentially hurt our relationship.’
Robin’s first husband Tony Smart tragically took his own life in 2014 following a battle with depression.

The pair had three sons together—Fin, 23, Lewin, 21, and Piper, 19—during their marriage.
Robin went on to marry her second husband Sean Pickwell in November 2018 after a three-year romance.
He proposed days after he learned his liver cancer had spread to his bones, blood and other organs.
Less than one year later, he died at the age of 56 in his wife’s arms at their Brisbane home on the morning of September 26, 2019.
