Radiohead, Eurythmics and Kate Bush could cement their places in music history after landing on the 2018 The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame shortlist.
A total of 19 musicians are up for the prestigious prize and the successful artists who make the cut will be announced in December.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame introduction is one of the industry’s most revered accolades, with previous recipients including The Beatles and Bob Dylan.

Bon Jovi, Rage Against the Machine and rapper LL Cool J have also been named in the running for the Class of 2018.
Depeche Mode, Judas Priest, the Moody Blues and The Zombies are also among the eight British acts tipped for the title.
Musicians are only eligible for entry 25 years after the release of their first record. Radiohead’s debut single Creep was released in 1992.

Nina Simone, the Eurythmics, Dire Straits, Judas Priest, Kate Bush, Moody Blues, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine and Sister Rosetta Tharpe are first-time nominees.
More than 900 artists, historians and members of the music industry will cast their vote on the 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Fans will also be able to voice their opinion on who should hold the title by voting on the official Rock Hall website using their Facebook account.

Voting will be open from October 5 until December 5.
The final list of successful artists named in December will be inducted in April at a ceremony.
HBO will present The 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony in Cleveland on April 14, 2018.
