If the changes have caused delays to your service you can claim compensation from the train operator.

Each firm has its own refund policy and payouts are based on the length of the delay.

Some train operators will now award a refund worth 25 per cent of a single fare for delays of as little as 15 minutes.

You need to make your claim within 28 days. You can apply for the compensation by post or by phone, or ask at your local station.
