Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is hospitalized after being kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed at home

Rapper Teskashi 6ix9ine has been hospitalized after he was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed.

According to TMZ, the 22-year-old was filming a music video in Brooklyn, New York, and left the set around 4am on Sunday.

When he arrived home, his driveway was blocked and that’s when three hooded gunman allegedly knocked him unconscious by hitting him with a pistol.

Tekashi was then tossed into the backseat and, when he came to, he was ordered to hand over his jewelry and money, and was told that otherwise he would be killed, reported TMZ.

The kidnappers allegedly then drove back to Tekashi’s home, with one of the gunman staying with the rapper and two entering the house.

They reportedly emerged having stolen around $750,000 in jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash, reported TMZ.

His daughter and the child’s mother are said to have been in the house at the time of the robbery but remained unharmed.

The gunmen allegedly then drover away with Teksahi in the backseat. Sources told TMZ he managed to get one of the rear passenger doors open and escape from the car.

He escaped the car and is then said to have flagged down a passing driver, getting into the passenger's seat and begging them to call 911. Tekashi is currently in the hospital

The controversial rapper was taken to the hospital via ambulance where he awaits test results, says TMZ. 

The gossip website published a photo of the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, dressed in a hospital gown and the right side of his face looking badly bruised and beaten.
