Rashford, Kane and Co arrive at St George’s Park as England squad get set for Euro qualifiers 

England stars have arrived at St George’s Park ahead of Euro qualifying matches against Malta and North Macedonia.

Gareth Southgate selected his squad, with some surprise exclusions, including Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling.

The Three Lions boss Southgate plans to rest his Manchester City stars against Malta, after they won the Champions League on Saturday.

Lewis Dunk received his first call-up for the national side in five years following an impressive season with Brighton & Hove Albion and was one of the players that arrived for duty on Sunday.

He was joined by usual suspects Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane, who are both coming into the post-season matches off the back of impressive campaigns with their clubs.

Bukayo Saka was also pictured arriving at St George’s Park after finishing second with Arsenal

Bukayo Saka was also present, while his Arsenal teammate Ben White missed out on selection despite being part of the in-form Gunners side this season.

Harry Maguire was also pictured despite an inconsistent season at club level, arriving alongside Man United teammate Luke Shaw.

Relegated James Maddison made the squad once again after a somewhat surprising inclusion in Southgate’s World Cup squad back in December.

Marc Guehi could be looking to take advantage of the fact that John Stones will be absent against Malta, with the central defender looking to cement his place in Southgate’s plans ahead of Euro 2024.

Eberechi Eze was delighted arriving at the training complex ahead of his potential debuty

Manchester United duo Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were also pictured arriving

James Maddison arrived after being relegated with Leicester in the Premier League

Fellow Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze has also made the squad following his recent run of form as he has scored six goals in his last 10 matches for the club. The midfielder arrived with a smile on his face ahead of the Euro qualifiers.

Tyrone Mings’ recent form also earned the defender a call-up for the squad, as a useful option for Southgate on the left side of defence if he opts to field the Aston Villa captain.

The Three Lions face Malta on Friday before hosting North Macedonia in the Euro 2024 qualifying matches.

England kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 win away to Italy.

Southgate’s side then defeated Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley a few days later as they sit top of Group C with six points in two matches.
