Raspberry Pi eyes £540m valuation when it floats on the LSE next week

Float: Raspberry Pi sells computers to amateur coders

Computer maker Raspberry Pi is eyeing a valuation of up to £540million when it floats on the London Stock Exchange next week.

Shares in the company, which sells computers to amateur coders and hobbyists, are set to be priced between 260p to 280p when trading kicks off on June 11.

That would value the group at between £500million and £540million.

The float will fuel hopes that the tide is starting to turn following an exodus of firms from the London stock market and a dearth of initial public offerings.

Just four firms have floated in London in the first four months of the year.
