Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker called the antics of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce ‘kind of silly’.
Tucker’s warmup at his home stadium was interrupted by multiple Kansas City players – with Kelce throwing his helmet and wide receiver Marques Valdez-Scantling kicking a place holder out of the way.
‘I saw Patrick there trying to warm up and get some drop backs,’ Tucker said. ‘He asked me while I was on the ground stretching if I could move my helmet.
‘I happily got up and I moved my helmet out of the way — at least I thought it was enough out of the way.
‘And then Travis comes over and he just kicks my stuff, and he throws my helmet.’
Baltimore Ravens place kicker Justin Tucker addressed a pre-game scuffle with the Chiefs

Tucker was warming up and had his gear kicked aside by Travis Kelce and others

Despite the interruptions, Tucker was perfect on the day in the Ravens’ loss to the Chiefs
‘I just thought it was all just some gamesmanship, all in good fun but they seemed to be taking it a little more seriously.’
‘That’s just what I’ve done for 12 years and it’s not like I’m out there trying to be problematic,’ Tucker added. ‘I’m just trying to get ready for the football game just like they are.’
Kelce appeared to be on-edge all game – with the tight end seen jawing with the opposition defense throughout the contest.
Tucker didn’t score much for the Ravens, but he was a perfect 1/1 on field goals and 1/1 on extra points.
But Baltimore wasn’t able to come out with the victory as Kansas City made yet another Super Bowl.
