Brynne Gordon, former wife of late businessman and disgraced physician Geoffrey Edelsten, has revealed she is single again.

The American-born socialite named and shamed an ex-partner by posting his break-up message on Facebook on Sunday.

‘And just like that, I’m single again,’ the 41-year-old announced, attaching a series of screenshots that laid bare the lengthy break-up text from a man identified as ‘Simon’.

In it, Gordon’s ex-partner stated, ‘I won’t be coming home tonight.’ 

He also referenced the possibility of imprisonment and mentioned a surety – a promise or agreement to ensure debts and financial obligations are met.

‘Baby as you worked out yesterday I went to see Emma. She laid [out] an ultimatum for me, saying that she would no longer continue as surety if I continued to live with you,’ the message read.

‘I love you, but if I have no surety I do not think that you would handle being alone for however long I was locked up for and while she said that I could no longer live with you, there was nothing about not continuing to see you,’ it continued.

‘The deadline was today, and so I have taken most of my things and gone to a hotel for the night. I am so sorry to have to tell you this, and I don’t know how you whish [sic] to move forward from this, but I won’t be coming home tonight. I will be in contact tomorrow. I love you.’

Gordon’s followers rallied around her, expressing outrage on her behalf and mocking her ex-lover’s spelling errors. His profile remains private.

When a follower asked who Emma was, Gordon responded by saying ‘his ex gf.’

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to both Brynne and Simon for comment. 

The Oklahoma-born television personality became famous in 2009 when she married Geoffrey Edelsten, who was 40 years her senior.

Their marriage, however, was short-lived and the pair divorced in 2014 after Brynne alleged her husband had been unfaithful to her. Geoffrey died in Melbourne aged 78 in June 2021.

The socialite welcomed her ‘miracle baby’, Starr Amari Gordon, on April 21 2022.

She told The Herald Sun in 2022 providing for Starr has given her a new perspective on life.

The SAS Australia contestant explained she originally thought motherhood ‘was not on the cards’ for her and she feels so blessed to have a perfect daughter to care for.

‘I don’t know myself anymore, everything is about her. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me,’ she said.

The identity of Starr’s father has not been made public.

However, Brynne confirmed to the publication the man had met his daughter twice.

The pregnancy was delightful news for Brynne, who discovered during her high-profile marriage to Edelsten it was unlikely she could ever conceive naturally.
