- Sergio Ramos was suspended for Real Madrid’s clash with Juventus
- But the club captain ventured down to watch end of match on touchline
- He could be banned from semi-final if officials spotted the incident
Sergio Ramos faces an anxious wait to discover if he will miss Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final.
The club captain was already suspended for Real’s last-minute quarter-final win over Juventus on Wednesday.
And as the game ran towards a dramatic finale at the Bernabeu, the Spaniard abandoned his seats in the stand to get a pitchside view.

Massimiliano Allegri remonstrated with the Real Madrid captain for being there
He was spotted by the TV cameras gesticulating wildly at the mouth of the tunnel as his team-mates toiled having seen their 3-0 aggregate lead whittled away.
After Lucas Vazquez won a dramatic stoppage time penalty for the hosts, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri was spotted remonstrating with Ramos on the sidelines telling him he should not have been there.
UEFA rules state that if the officials spotted Ramos encroaching on the playing area while suspended then he could be given an extra match ban.
That would see him miss the first-leg of Real Madrid’s semi-final, against one of Bayern Munich, Liverpool or Roma.
The draw for the last four takes place on Friday morning.
