She told how she was ‘in pain and swollen’ after a particularly hard week and explained she fell down ‘some steps’ on to her ankle.

She shared: ‘Andy hasn’t been allowed to come to any hospital appointments, many of my friends and family I still haven’t seen, no baby shower.

‘I only met my midwife for the first time last week so it’s felt a lot more disconnected and I’m not even allowing myself to think about the possibility of having to give birth by myself. That terrifies me.’

The sportswoman also spoke about juggling her pregnancy with handling renovation work at her home, before asking her social media followers for name suggestions and revealing her mini-me Summer is ‘beyond excited’ about his arrival.

Prior to welcoming her new arrival, Rebecca revealed she is not a ‘strict parent’ with Summer, as she said that people expect her to be harder on her daughter because of her experience of training for the Olympics.

However, Rebecca said that she and Harry, 28, who is a former swimmer himself, have adopted a ‘good cop and bad cop’ style of parenting.

She said that she is a soft parent, hinting that Harry takes the role of ‘bad cop’ in the candid insight into their life as exes.
