Rebecca Adlington is shocked as she shares video of her husband Andy downing ten drinks on boozy all-inclusive holiday

Olympian Rebecca Adlington has been left shocked by her husband Andy Parson’s drinking habits during their family break to Turkey.

The sportswoman and TV star shared a tongue-in-cheek Instagram video of her partner making the most of the unlimited booze on offer during their all-inclusive break as she joked about to contrast to his sober habits at home.

Sharing a video of Andy drinking beers and cocktails during one day at their resort, Rebecca cheekily quipped: ‘Same guy who only drinks water at home!’

Every time Andy ordered an alcoholic drink Becky filmed, with the final tally standing at 10.

Andy’s holiday drinking habits were met with full support in the comments, with one of Becky’s followers pointing out: ‘Haha! Alcohol doesn’t count on holiday, like calories don’t count in the dark when you’re at the cinema!’

Rebecca, 35, has kept her followers up to date with her family break with Andy and their children Summer, nine, and Albie, three.

She shared a swimsuit snap of herself over the weekend, showing off her athletic physique in the plunging blue number.

Uploading family selfies, Becky gushed is was an ‘amazing week away with my favourite humans!’

At 19 the celebrated athlete won two gold medals in the 400m and 800m Freestyle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

After winning bronze in the same events in London 2012, she retired from competition in 2013 as Britain’s most decorated swimmer.

She now works as a BBC pundit, most recently for the 2024 Paris Olympics as well as running her own children’s swimming initiative.

Speaking to The Telegraph in June about the changes in her life and to her body since she retired from swimming, Rebecca admitted her figure has ‘changed massively.’

‘I’ve been pregnant four times and have two kids. Swimmers tend to have pancake bums but then I had kids and these hips suddenly appeared.

‘I have very much struggled from a weight aspect. I’ve been a size 10 and now I’m a size 16. My wardrobe is a mismatch of sizes. I just pick something out that fits that year.’

And swimming as a hobby has taken a backseat since she became a mum as she explains how she’s in the pool just once a week now, in comparison to the 22 hours a week she swam whilst competing.

‘Because I work full-time I’m conscious of having time with my kids. I don’t want to go home and workout without my kids. I’m such a family girl,’ she said.

‘Maybe in their teenage years when they start going off to their mates that will change but I’m in this golden 10-year period where I just want to be with them.’
