Rebecca Judd teases her exciting new career and the surprising reason why she will NEVER return to television presenting again

Rebecca Judd teased an exciting new career move on Friday, before revealing the surprising reason why she would never return to television presenting.

The former Postcards presenter, 41, is currently staying near Uluru in the Northern Territory, for Virgin Australia’s launch event celebrating direct flights from Brisbane to the sacred rock.

Speaking with Daily Mail Australia at the event, the AFL WAG revealed that she will soon be announcing an exciting new chapter in her career.

‘I’ve got some good things coming up. I can’t say anything now, in another month or two,’ she said.

‘It will pretty much take up all my time. I won’t have time for other things.’

Bec, who hosted the Channel Nine travel series Postcards from 2011 to 2020, also revealed why she’s done with being a TV presenter.

‘I don’t think I could do it with four kids, because there is lots of travel. My life is a lot busier now,’ Bec said. 

The stunner shares four children – daughter Billie, nine, son Oscar, 12, and twins Darcy and Tom, seven, with her ex-AFL star husband Chris.

‘I don’t think I could ever go back to TV, I have too many other good things going on,’ she added.

Judd and her nine-year-old daughter, Billie, are currently in the Northern Territory to celebrate Virgin Australia’s maiden service to Uluru, which launched with an epic three-day sale.

The new services, launched in partnership with the NT Government and Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia (operators of Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru), will inject more than 62,000 seats per year to the Red Centre, adding to the nation’s $6billion Indigenous tourism economy.

The sold out maiden flight, VA1681, recently departed Melbourne, with First Nations performers and celebrity guests celebrating the new gateway between Melbourne and Uluru.

The airline host a launch event at Uluru with Platinum-selling ARIA award-winning singer, Budjerah, headlining a surprise performance for guests in attendance. 

Other A-List stars attending the event include Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Jett Kenny and Mitch Tambo. 

Virgin Australia has dropped a mammoth Uluru sale with fares from $119 one-way, available now until 11:59pm AEST this Saturday 8 June 2024.
