Rebekah Vardy’s first husband Mark Godden, whom she had divorced in 2003, has said he wants the WAG to ‘suffer’ during her time in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
She is currently starring on the much-loved ITV series and in a scathing interview with The Mirror, Rebekah’s ex has said he wants ‘payback’ on her for ‘cheating’ on him during their marriage – a claim she vehemently denies.
He revealed that he has been purposely voting for Rebekah to take on the show’s famous Bushtucker Trials, as he wants her to ‘go through hell’ while in camp.

Prior to wedding her footballer husband Jamie Vardy, Rebekah, 35, had married Mark after the pair embarked on a whirlwind romance when he was 21 years old and she just 18, after meeting in a local pub.
It’s reported the pair had spent £7000 on their wedding which saw them tie the knot on a beach in Mexico back in 2001.
Speaking of his ex, after seeing her appear on I’m A Celebrity this year, Mark told the publication: ‘I’m an avid fan [of the show] and this year it’s even better because my ex is on it.
‘While I don’t want to see her win, although she’d love to, I want her to go through hell.’

He then revealed: ‘We are all voting for her to get to the trials because we want her to suffer. We all want her to scream a bit.’
Describing their former relationship, Mark claimed the pair had the ‘perfect’ wedding, but accused Rebekah ‘changing’ just weeks after they had wed.
He claims she had been unfaithful while the duo were in Mexico for their big day and ‘had been found in bed with a jet-ski instructor’ – something a representative for Rebekah and the star herself has strenuously denied.
Mark added that he was then left ‘humiliated’ by his ex-wife, after Rebekah sold a story claiming she had slept with Peter Andre – criticising his manhood and performance in the bedroom. She had revealed in her interview, that saw her pose in just her lingerie, that she had told the Mysterious Girl singer she was ‘married’.

A representative for Rebekah has said that while she was married to Mark at the time, they were ‘technically separated’.
Mark, meanwhile, shared his disbelief at Rebekah being among the celebrity lineup for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this series, hitting out at the star and claiming she ‘isn’t a celebrity’. He added that he has had ‘no contact’ with Rebekah since their divorce 14 years ago.
When contacted by MailOnline, a representative for Rebekah responded to Mark’s comments and insisted his claims about her being unfaithful are not true.
They said: ‘The relationship ended 17 years ago and it’s a shame that Mr Godden would make all of these claims so many years later, perhaps his memory of the marriage isn’t entirely clear as many of his claims aren’t accurate.
‘Becky will be disappointed as she has always openly said what a good man he was. She was a very damaged teenager when she met Mark, she had been sexually abused and kicked out of home about a year before meeting him.

‘Mark and his family took her in offering her safety, security and a loving home, something that she really wasn’t used to. He proposed to her when she was still a teenager and she agreed because she felt like it was the right thing to do as he and his family had been so good to her.’
They continued: ‘She quickly realised that she shouldn’t have married him and they agreed to separate. She has spoken before at the guilt that she felt over ending the marriage but it was kinder to separate than to stay in a loveless marriage, no one can blame a teenage girl for that.
‘There was no infidelity whilst she was married to Mark and once they agreed to separate, she went on to live her own life as did Mark. I can imagine that being married to a damaged teenage girl wasn’t the easiest thing for Mr Godden to cope with. Becky would continue to wish Mr Godden all the best with his life and has nothing negative to say about him despite him making several untrue claims about her.’
Rebekah is now married to Leicester City and England footballer Jamie Vardy. The duo had wed in May 2016 in a ceremony held at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire.

They initially began dating two years earlier in 2014.
She and Jamie share two children together; daughter Sofia and son Finlay born in January, earlier this year. Rebekah is also mum to two other children Megan and Taylor from a previous relationship, while Jamie is dad to daughter Ella, who he shares with ex Emma Daggett.
Godden’s comments come after viewers saw Rebekah take on the dreaded eating challenge on I’m A Celebrity alongside Made In Chelsea star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.
The task – which was called Worst Dates – saw the celebs eating a selection of unpleasant animal parts in order to win meals for their campmates – half of whom have so far been living on rice and beans.

The girls were forced to choke down live meal worms, spiders, a pig’s anus and even an ostrich’s foot, in their quest to provide food for camp.
After only failing on one delicacy, due to timing rather than disgust, viewers immediately took to Twitter to praise the duo – questioning ‘how the hell’ they did it.
Among those had been Rebekah’s beau Jamie, who revealed he had voted for his wife to do the trial ‘five times’ – despite her previously claiming there would be ‘big trouble’ if had done so.
Taking to the social media site after the task aired on ITV, Jamie tweeted a photo of his wife looking shocked, along with the caption: ‘Bex’s face when she finds out that I voted for her 5 times on the app to do the eating trial. Sorry babe just wanted everyone to see that you’re fearless & you proved me right [sic]!’
Despite being two of the most glamorous girls on the show, the Made In Chelsea star and WAG steamed through the trial with ease – munching on the likes of fish eyes and fermented eggs, and only missing out on the last star due to lack of time.
Fans confessed the girls had exceeded all expectations – with one normally living it up on the swanky King’s Road, and the other married to a Premier League footballer.
One viewer applauded: ‘Fair play to Becky and Toff for that tough Bushtucker eating trial, it’s one of the most confident performances I’ve ever seen in #ImACeleb and defied my expectations so they’ve got my full appreciation and vote to stay.’
